Russian River // May 10th 2024

Bridgehaven to the Pacific // 3 miles // 3 hrs

Put in near the Russian River Bridge and had a pretty smooth ride until we made the corner where the wind pushed us back quite a bit. Once we got close to the mouth of the ocean we realized we wouldn't be able to paddle out due to currents and waves.

We were also a bit nervous with seals popping up all around us and letting us know it was time to move along. We went back up the estuary and hopped out to stretch our legs. From there it was a short paddle across where we took out at the Jenner Visitors Center.
