Snake Road to Nicks Cove // 3 miles // 3 hrs

Put in around 10am as the tide was going out to a gentle float along the creek.

Came upon a river otter sunning near its secret cabin.

It swam next to us and then went back to resume sunning on the bank.

As we continued down the lazy river another river otter swam under water straight towards us. It swam a few inches away from our boat and then turned into a dragon and flew off.

At low tide you have to paddle way out into the bay to get around the sand bar. We then did that, cornered, and pointed our love crafts towards Nicks Cove. Sea otters, Herons, Egrets, and albino dolphins all around we paddled to lunch at Nick's Cove. It tasted good. The end.
