Snake Road to Nicks Cove // 3 miles // 2 hrs

We put in pretty early near Snake Rd and parked the other car at Nick's Cove.

Super Mellow ride with beautiful views.

I thought it would be too close to the road, but we barely noticed it and it veered away for most of the trip.

We decided to try one of the fingers that lead off the wider water and it proved to be a bit of work and a short walk, but well worth it.

When we got back in we paddled down what we've named "Egret Alley". Along the water there was at least 1 snowy egret per 50 feet and about 50 or so off in the distance. We paddled from there into the bay and down to Nick's Cove for lunch.

Pretty great first paddle of the season!
